Dickson, Dan

Dan Dickson has worked for several central Kentucky nonprofit organizations over the past decade. As Communications Director for Kentucky Blood Center, Dan provided expert public and media relations support for the Center’s successful capital campaign that resulted in the opening of the new $6.5 million donor center in the Beaumont area of Lexington. Dan also served as Regional Gift Officer for the University of Kentucky, nurturing relationships with UK graduates in the western United States and in eastern Kentucky. Prior to his nonprofit work, Dan enjoyed a long career as a television news reporter, anchor and producer, with 14 years spent in Kentucky at WKYT-TV and WTVQ-TV in Lexington and at WHAS-TV in Louisville. Dan joined Global Advancement in 2008.
