Hartman, Jessica

Jessica Hartman combined a career in university research and teaching at the secondary level into a new career as a non-profit director. She began working in the non-profit field as a community United Way director. She also led non-profit agencies in Texas and Kentucky, including the Wichita County Heritage Society in Wichita Falls, Texas and the Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen. She managed a $1,000,000 public funding campaign for a $7,000,000 project rehabilitating a major building in the National Register Historic District in Wichita Falls, Texas. The building now houses 41market rate apartment and was voted best rehabilitation project in Texas for 2005. Jessica received her B.S. degree from the University of Kentucky and her MAEd. degree from the College of William and Mary.
