Kidwell, Judith F.

Judith Kidwell has 15 years of experience in institutional advancement as a consultant and as a university administrator. She earned a B.A. in history from Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland, and her M.S. degree in organizational management from Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee. After a career in banking in Kentucky, she worked for a fundraising counsel firm in Nashville, Tennessee, where she gained experience in developing fundraising plans and strategies, researching funding sources and preparing grant applications and proposals for a variety of clients including private colleges, universities and secondary schools, hospitals and arts and social service organizations. She spent ten years in the Office of Institutional Advancement at Cumberland University, where she managed internal and external communications and was responsible for the research, cultivation and solicitation of foundation and government grants and for grants administration. She also has experience in coordinating special events and lecture series and in managing volunteers. Judith has held leadership positions with Tennessee Advancement Resource Council and volunteers for her church and for the Jesse Stuart Foundation in Ashland, Kentucky. Judith is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Bluegrass Chapter. Judith joined Global Advancement in 2009.
