Trapp, Carrie
Carrie Trapp served as the Director of Development for both The Lexington School and College of Human Environmental Sciences at the University of Kentucky. With nine years of fundraising and marketing experience, she has actively led many successful annual funds, capital campaigns and special event activities. Under her leadership at The Lexington School, the organization's auction and annual fund contributed $500,000 yearly to the operating budget and over $5.5 million was raised during the quiet phase of a building campaign. Furthermore, Carrie graduated with a B.A. in Communications from the University of Kentucky. She concentrated her efforts in television journalism. From these experiences, she has developed comprehensive management skills to advance her philanthropic talents in the areas of start-up development offices, board/committee relations, strategic planning, websites and database administration. Active with CASE-Kentucky, Carrie has presented on advancement operations; co-chaired the Independent School sector and has worked with various accreditation teams for the National Association of Independent Schools. Overall, Ms. Trapp enjoys helping organizations grow to the next level. |
